A new bimetallic ferrimagnet ([Mn2II(H2O)2(CH3COO)][MoV(CN)8]•2H2O)n and its antiferromagnetic analogue ([Mn2II(H2O)3Cl][MoV(CN)8]•4H2O)n

摘要
The reaction between Cs-3[Mo(CN)(8)]center dot 2H(2)O and MnCl2 center dot 4H(2)O gives two new cyano-bridged bimetallic compounds of ([Mn-2(II)(H2O)(2)(CH3COO)][Mo-V(CN)(8)]center dot 2H(2)O)(n) (1) and ([Mn-2(II)(H2O)(3)C][Mo-V(CN)(8)]center dot 4H(2)O)(n) (2) in different conditions. The magnetic behaviors of these complexes have been investigated, indicating that 1 is a ferrimagnet with an ordering temperature of about 6 K and that for 2 there is antiferromagnetic coupling between the paramagnetic ions in the system.
