摘要
The aim of this paper is analyzing the participation of the teachers in the general meetings held in Preschool and Primary Education schools. We study the importance of the general meeting competencies concerning the students ' education and the school running. We have written a specific protocol that has been sent by email to a sample of schools in the different autonomous communities of Spain, 716 teachers have answered to the protocol. We have written a report with the information obtained. We observe that training about teachers participation in the general meeting could be improved whereas the general meeting tasks about the students ' education and the school running are valued as appropriate, however according to the teachers opinion the achievement of the meeting responsibilities and the support of the educational administrations to its work and proposals could be improved.
