摘要：

Both enantiomers of trichodenones A, and B and C, the cytotoxic metabolites from a strain of Trichoderma harzianum from the sponge Halichondria okadai, have been synthesized from (R)- and (S)-4-hydroxy-2-cyclopentenones as chiral building blocks, respectively. These syntheses allowed assignment of absolute stereostructures for these natural products.
