摘要
The digitalization of conventional ultrasonic inspection processes for large castings like e.g. gas turbine casings enables an efficient use of various standardized evaluation methods. Thus, digitalization enhances the quality of inspection and reduces the production scrape rate. During inspection the assessment of inhomogeneities is performed according to DIN EN ISO 16827 [1], however applied methods depend on subjective evaluation. In this paper the novel system integration concept DIMUTA (Digital Inspection Method for Ultrasonic Testing Applications) based on the fusion of data obtained from a mobile ultrasonic testing device and an optical localization system is presented. The developed system is tested in a production relevant environment thus advantages and disadvantages regarding the creation of a digital shadow of the inspected component are identified.
