A Control Method of PV Grid -connected Inverter under Grid Voltage Unbalanced Drops

摘要
To satisfy the requirements of low voltage ride-through (LVRT) capability of PV grid-connected inverter under certain circumstances that three-phase grid voltage shows asymmetrical drops, an unbalance control strategy of the grid -connected inverter is designed in this paper. That means each sequence current values of reference in target current should be reset as it seeks to improve output current on AC side and curb the fluctuation of direct voltage and make PV grid-connected inverter operate well under the unbalanced drops of three-phase voltage, which shall not affect the power quality of power grid. Particularly, when analyzing elaborately the characteristic of inverter on condition that grid voltage shows asymmettical drops, the control target is to suppress negative-sequence current output on AC side and the fluctuation of double frequency of voltage on DC side respectively. A simulation model of grid -connected PV systems is built in MatlablSimulink: and the simulation results indicate the proposed LVRT operation can be realized under unbalanced grid voltage conditions.
