摘要：
The need for keeping the virtual R&D teams creative is discussed. Creative performance of the team is defined as the number of new ideas, methods, approaches, inventions, or applications generated by the team members. R&D teams are more likely to find creative solutions to complex problems through more personal and synchronous modes of communications. A dynamic approach to proximity, in which proximity is increased or decreased as desired allows for highest creative performance.
