摘要
(Figure Presented) Living templates: Gold, silver, platinum, and palladium nanoparticles are synthesized. The as-obtained citrate-stabilized solutions are used as growth media for a variety of fungi. The nanoparticles partly assemble onto the mycelia, leading to a hybrid structure which consists of a biological template covered with nanoparticles. Supercritical drying of these structures conserves the three-dimensional tubular shape. © 2008 Wiley-VCH Verlag GmbH & Co. KGaA.
