Microstructure and mechanical characteristics of 307Si stainless steel thin-wall parts in wire arc additive manufacturing hybrid interlayer high-speed friction

摘要
A method of wire arc additive manufacturing hybrid interlayer high-speed friction (WAAM-HSF) was pro-posed. Microstructure and mechanical characteristics of 307Si stainless steel in the WAAM and WAAM-HSF were investigated. The microstructure in the WAAM and WAAM-HSF consisted of c-austenite and residual d-ferrite. The microstructure in the WAAM-HSF was obviously refined compared with that of WAAM. The grain diameter was gradually reduced from the top region to the bottom region in two thin-walls. In the same region, the grain size in the WAAM was greater than that of WAAM-HSF. Compare to WAAM, the microhardness in the WAAM-HSF was enhanced.(c) 2022 Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME). Published by Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
