摘要：
It is anticipated that the popularity of MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) will have a great impact on all the conventional university education in China. This paper intends to make an analysis on the present situation of English education that the private universities in China are facing by taking Guangdong Peizheng University for example. And then it comes up with some ideas on how English education in private universities should respond to the great changes of information-based education. Finally, it concludes that innovation in English education is the only way out for private universities in China.
