Synthesis of new type of water-soluble hybrid phosphine-phosphonate ligands

摘要
Phosphonate-functionalized phosphine ligands (2a-d) and their water-soluble di-sodium salts Na2O3PCH2CH2NR1 (CH2CH2NR2)(n)R-3 (3a-d) were prepared by a new route using bis(hydroxymethyl)diphenylphosphonium chloride with 2-aminoethylphosphonic acid and its N-substituted compounds H2O3PCH2CH2NR1(CH2CH2NR2)(n)R-3 (1a-d) under mild conditions at 60-70degreesC and without special reagents. The solubilities of 3a-d in water at 25 degreesC were also measured and compared.
