摘要
The rapid development of digital technologies and their increasing usage in recent years, has allowed distance learning to be more widely adopted as a form of education. It is used extensively for a variety of purposes and in a variety of ways, depending on course users, as well as the availability and cost of technology. Distance learning is used much more frequently and is integrated into different levels of schooling. The results of research [4], [11], [14], show that digital technologies for distance learning can improve interaction between teachers and students, as well as the social learning interactions between students; they can also support constructive and co-operative learning. The education process in remote rural schools continues to present disadvantages despite determined efforts to overcome them. This is due partly to the economic and social gap separating urban and rural areas, and partly to the problems that these schools face regarding their isolation, employment of teachers, construction of laboratories, provision of educational materials and teacher training, as well as problems connected to the phenomenon of school dropout etc. Within the framework of the application of the National Strategy for Education in Albania, which highlights the role of Information and Communication Technologies in this field, we asked teachers from remote mountain villages their opinions about distance learning, the possibilities of integrating traditional courses with online courses, digital learning objects, etc. Pre-service teachers following the Teaching Master's at the Faculty of Education, University of Shkoder, were involved in the opinion poll.
