摘要
In this paper, we proposed a novel approach to recover the profile of optical fibers on the focal plate. First of all, the spectra image is to be preprocessed. Then, the radon transform is utilized to simulate the inverse process of spectra imaging and collect each fibers' total flux from two-dimensional images which observed by LAMOST (Large Sky Multi-Object Fiber Spectroscopic Telescope). Next, the Gaussian basis function is employed to approximate the contour of each fiber on the focal plate. There are four thousand fibers on the focal surface and each one has a fixed position. Therefore, four thousand profiles are placed on its corresponding position for final process and hence a simulation of the focal plate.
