摘要
Samples of dicobalt hydroxide arsenate, Co-2(OH)(AsO4), and magnesium derivatives were prepared under hydrothermal conditions. An EPR study shows that there exists a strong preference of the Co2+ ions for the octahedral sites in the crystal structure, as well as a large magnetic anisotropy, parametrized by its spin Hamiltonian parameters g and A. The results of magnetic susceptibility measurements are consistent with 3D antiferromagnetic behaviour.
