摘要
The aim of this study is to discuss the contribution of the Pedagogical Political Project (PPP) in the development and strengthening in the human sciences area in high school at the Dom Alano Mary Du Noday State College, located in Palmas, the capital of the state of Tocantins, in the Brazilian, Amazon region. The research is qualitative, bibliographical and document analysis. The school's Political Pedagogical Project follows the guidelines of the Department of Education. However, in relation to the contribution of the school's PPP to the area of applied human and social sciences, it is in line with the curricular guidelines set out in the legal frameworks and national normative documents that deal with the teaching of history. The PPP emphasises actions related to commemorative dates, to the detriment of themes that would encourage the formation of historical awareness. We therefore conclude that the PPP follows the same line as the BNCC, i.e. it does not value the human science area.
