摘要
This experience report aims to share an overview of the digitization process for a portion of the collection at the Cultural Reference Center of the State of Ceara' (Ceres), located at the Chico Albuquerque Museum of Image and Sound of Ceara' (MIS-CE), and the outcomes of research, mediation and conservation activities related to the institution's collection. The activity enabled the development of technical procedures and educational actions through the organization of the exhibition "Era prata, agora e pixel" (It was silver, now it's pixel). The exhibition aimed to share the results of the Laboratory's initial activities, as well as the discussions and questions that guided the choices and procedures adopted. The digitized collection comprises slides by Ceara' photographer Mauricio Albano, whose photographic practice was analyzed by the professionals from the Conservation and Digitization Laboratories. Anchored in research and reflections on the supports, it was possible to analyze the images from historical, theoretical, aesthetic aspects and the possible implications in the uses of available technologies in expanding access, dissemination and research into Ceara''s cultural heritage.
