摘要
Digital platforms have come to revolutionize the way Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) communicate with different audiences. The key to success of platforms adoption in HEIs is to be aware in advance of the factors affecting technology acceptance by users, so that HEIs can adopt strategies that enhance their use. This study aims to contribute to fill a gap in the literature, by identifying the determinants of the intention to use digital platforms by HEIs' students. The results of this research, carried out in the initial stage of a digital platform adoption, allowed us to conclude that, together, performance expectation, facilitating conditions, habit and perceived privacy explain in 60.1% the students' intention to use the digital platform. From the findings of this study, relevant theoretical implications arise for HEIs management.
