摘要：
A nurse coach (NC) applies coaching and nursing competencies to help individuals realize their potential. Nurse coaching has been applied in clinical settings to promote patient well-being and health outcomes. A NC's role in nursing school is new. The stress and rigor of nursing education can negatively influence wellbeing. Stressors left unchecked can lead to burnout during school. Moreover, the NC can implement strategies to stave off burnout, such as self-care, stress management, and resilience building to attain and maintain well-being. The NC role development for nursing students intends to provide holistic support commensurate to the varied needs of an increasingly diverse student population.
