摘要
The review focused on published papers and might have left out some unpublished re-search works. The result of this review indicated insufficiency of specific data available on antibiotic residues in eggs and its heath implications especially in some developing countries. The outcome of the review however indicated the consumption of eggs contain-ing antibiotic residues above MRLs are likely to cause some negative health effects among consumers.(c) 2022 The Author(s).
