摘要
Romania's accession negotiations to the EU represent a complex process that united representatives of all important actors, as political parties, market structures, non- governamental organizations and academia. All these actors tried to explain and project their interests toward these negotiations, so that the attitudes and communication paradigms evolved in the last decades, providing the perception that the enlargement process was the most prominent activity of EU, even though the cohesion of enlargement and deepening was aimed. The preparation of accession offered arguments for the negotiation process, the link being direct between preparation and negotiation. The present paper aims to identify the contribution of the Romanian civil society in the preparation of the accession. Qualitative analysis is used, with the discourse and content analysis as methods of research. The results of the study will reveal important contributions of the Romanian civil society in the preparation of certain chapters that were negotiated and will offer useful examples for future accession negotiations to the EU.
