摘要
It is essential for researchers to use data collection methods that facilitate autistic students to share their views about their educational experiences, regardless of their preferred communica-tion styles. This review investigates the methods used in existing research to capture the per-spectives of autistic students about educational experiences such as bullying, transition, and wellbeing. The PRISMA guidelines informed the collection and analysis of the data presented in this review. Results indicate that semistructured interviews are the most commonly used method to elicit student perspectives; however, adjustments are often required to assist students with autism to express their opinions. Considerations for researchers conducting research with autistic students are presented, with an emphasis on how students can contribute to research develop-ment and design.
