A novel metal(Ⅱ)-organic complex Co(HIMP)(1,4-bdc)·3H2O has been hydrothermally synthesized and structurally characterized by single-crystal X-ray diffraction.The complex is a mononuclear Co(Ⅱ) complex, which is assembled into a 3D supramolecular architecture via strong intermolecular π…π stacking interactions and hydrogen bonds.
