Convenient synthesis of (4R,5R)-4,5-bis(aminomethyl)-2-isopropyl-1,3-dioxolane

摘要：
A convenient approach for the preparation of (4R,5R)-4,5-bis(aminomethyl)-2-isopropyl-1,3-dioxolane is described. The target compound via two steps is synthesized from diethyl-2,3-O-isobutylidene-D-tartrate, through ammonolysis and reduction.
