摘要
This scientific article presents a comprehensive investigation of the tribological and heat deflection temperature (HDT) properties of epoxy resin specimens additivated with functionalized silica (SiO2) nanoparticles. The objective of this research is to assess the effect of incorporating functionalized SiO2 nanoparticles on the behavior of the epoxy resin and to prepare the materials for 3D printing applications using a Pixdro LP50 printing platform, equipped with a double printhead assembly. Specimens made of epoxy resins without additives and those additivated with silica nanoparticles were cast and tribologically tested. In order to evaluate the tribological behavior, tests were carried out in dry mode, with the block-on-ring module of the tribology installation. The experiments were conducted using specimens made from an epoxy resin composite with varying concentrations of the hardening agent. Additionally, the study investigated the influence of additives at two different concentrations.
