摘要
Current research has two main aims: (a) to identify adults' content type preferences and (b) examine correlation between adults' content type preferences and online readiness in online learning environments. For this purpose, the research was conducted as a survey research. The research examined five types of content namely; video, interactive video, textual content, presentation, and video conference, as well as four psycho-educational constructs, which are self-efficacy, self-directed learning, learner control, and motivation as online readiness. A questionnaire was administered to adult learners to identify their preferences, and Configural Frequency Analysis was used to analyze the data. The findings revealed that adults with low levels of psycho-educational constructs tended to prefer only one type of interaction, such as video, presentation, or video conference, while those with high levels of these constructs preferred video conferences to a lesser extent. The findings obtained within the scope of the research will contribute to providing adaptive content for adults in digital learning environments and explaining the relationship between content types and online readiness.
