摘要
Peak pressure is one of the critical indicators for evaluating engine performance and is widely used in engine fault diagnosis and health assessment. To address the issues faced during peak pressure measurement, such as the complexity of engine structure making sensor installation difficult, poor reliability of sensors operating in hightemperature and high-pressure environments, and the high cost of sensors, a method is proposed that uses easily measurable cylinder head vibration signals to estimate peak pressure indirectly. The cylinder head vibration signals are processed using time-domain averaging to eliminate the effects of interference noise and improve the signal-to-noise ratio. The transfer function of the cylinder head system is then calculated from these vibration signals, and peak pressure is identified based on this transfer function. The identification results indicate that this method not only accurately identifies the peak pressure under normal engine conditions but also accurately detects peak pressure when the engine experiences various types of faults. This provides a practical reference for engine condition monitoring and fault diagnosis.
