摘要
This research examines the impact of incorporating polyamide fiber (PF) and ground granulated blast furnace slag (GGBS) with fly ash (FA) in certain ratios on geopolymer concrete (GPC) paving stones. For this purpose, the ratio of 0 %, 0.5 %, 1 %, and 1.5 % PF addition as well as various GGBS ratios on GPC was selected in this study. Mechanical tests of splitting tensile strength (STS) and compressive strength (CS) were conducted. In addition, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) examination was performed. The findings revealed that GPC containing 1 % GGBS and PF exhibited the best mechanical properties and highest impact resistance. Increasing the GGBS concentration improved impact resistance in mixtures without PF and with 0.5 % PF, whereas mixtures with 1.0 % and 1.5 % PF saw a decrease beyond 1.0 % GGBS. While 0.5 % and 1.0 % PF enhanced impact resistance, 1.5 % PF reduced impact resistance compared to the reference. According to the findings of the research, mixes that contained 1 % PF and 1 % GGBS achieved adequate strength, resulting in an improvement in the usage of GPC. In light of the study's foundation, the evaluation techniques and efforts may provide valuable insights for future investigations into the usage of PF and GGBS in concrete, benefiting both research and the building industry.
