摘要
This investigation aims to examine the linkage among entrepreneurial: success (ES) attitude (EA) and intention (EI) concerning India’s higher education context. To have a comprehensive viewpoint, indirect influence of EA (through EI) on ES has also been addressed in the sustainable goals context. The current investigation employed PLS-SEM for observing linkages among variables. This study was conducted in three Indian regions (Punjab, Haryana and NCR) with a sample size of 589 students. The findings demonstrate that EA significantly affects EI and that EI has a robust positive relation with ES. The current study further illustrates the mediating role of EI between EA and ES. The results demonstrate that when EA and ES are linked together, the indirect effect surpasses the direct effect of EA on ES. The current study contributes to and enriches the entrepreneurial literature in several ways. First, it suggests that EA has its direct linkage to ES of the potential entrepreneurs and thus contributes to sustainable growth (SDG 8, 9 & 10). Second, EA can boost the chance of reaching ES through the mediating effect of EI, indicating that EI and EA should be prioritized to raise the venture success rate and achieve sustainable growth. The results can also shed light on potential policy measures that support sustainable entrepreneurship. Institutions and governments might be urged to foster an atmosphere that is more encouraging for entrepreneurs who are dedicated to the SDGs.
