摘要：
Coils of wire rod are automatically welded together to give total coil weights up to 2000 kg. The operation is performed in a machine with two stationary fixtures to hold the rod ends and a processing unit. The processing unit is programmed to move along rails, to stop by each fixture and perform the different parts of the process.
