The Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) System is one of the application systems developed for NEAX/APEX2400 IMS. It consists of two functional portions: PABX Subsystem and MIS (Management Information System) Subsystem. The basic function of the PABX Subsystem is to allow incoming ACD calls to be efficiently distributed to Agent Consoles. The basic function of the MIS Subsystem is to execute a variety of system management services such as, for example, 'Working Status Report of Agents,' 'System Operating Status Report,' 'Traffic Status Report. ' This paper will outline the ACD System inclusive of its system configuration, service features, etc.
