By means of the proposed spectrophotometric method, based on the deviation of the optical properties of colloidal solutions from Lambert's law, it has been established that colloidal particles are absent from alkaline solutions of metal trioxyfluoronates at concentrations not exceedings 5. 10** minus **5 M. This method has been used to monitor the state of galvanic bath solutions.
