Tests were carried out in accordance with a protocol developed by the CSIR. This project aims to lay down acceptance criteria in accordance with which the results of the tests would be either accepted or rejected, and the tests themselves either passed or failed. With the completion of the tests prescribed by the protocol, the HS Design Engineering Explo Spot system proved itself to be effective in detecting and suppressing explosions for the given scenario.
