摘要
A method of synthesizing glycidol by the epoxidation of allyl alcohol with isopropylbenzene hydroperoxide is proposed. It is shown that by this method it is possible to obtain glycidol with a high yield (90-96 mol% per unreacted reagents) and a very high degree of purity. A special feature of this process is that the epoxidation is carried out in a paraffin hydrocarbon medium, thus considerably simplifying the separation of the reaction products.
