摘要
Experimental data show that an abrupt temperature decrease during the oxidation of zironium significantly increases oxidation rate, whereas in cobalt the effect of such a temperature change on the ultimate oxidation rate is negligible. These results are discussed in terms of the relative plasticities of oxide and metal.
