The significance of figure drawing in computer graphics, is discussed. In figure drawing, the determination of the line of action or capture the gesture in a pose, is essential. Line of action seems self explanatory, which visually describes the effects of forces from and on the subject. If there is an opportunity to plan the work with drawings, they depict the intention rather than detail of the work. Computer graphics and stop motion animation equally demand the meaning behind the animation but computer animation requires a different analytical process than does cel animation.
