In the U.S. market, one noticeable trend continues to be soaring imports of appearance-grade plantation pine lumber and finished products from the Southern Hemisphere. This influx of pine imports into the U.S. market will have a market impact on the domestic sawmilling and remanufacturing industry in North America.
