Covaygas is a new concept for modifying steam plants to reduce fuel consumption in existing ships (tankers, OBOs, container carriers, Methane/LPG carriers, and passenger vessels), and also for steam plants of LNG-cariers of new construction. The system has been patented in Spain and applications for patents are being filed in several countries.
