The results of determination of the coefficients of efficiency of stabilization of Ti-stabilized steels of four types were used to determine the parameters of intercrystalline corrosion resistance in respect of chemical composition. The highest values of the resistance parameters were recorded for ATA SUPER steel. The resistance parameters of this steel taking into account the nitrogen content are compared with the parameters of a steel with the optimized chemical composition and with low-carbon steels stabilized with Nb and modified with Mo. The method of evaluating the corrosion resistance on the basis of calculations of the minimum Cr prime content (effective Cr content) and maximum effective carbon content C prime and the resulting resistance parameter k appears promising for use in practice in production of corrosion-resisting steels.
