Thrust/input power ratios and size of annular linear induction motor

摘要
This paper discusses the effect of change in the three-dimensional sizes of annular linear induction motors on their operating characteristics. The thrust is calculated from the thrust equations developed earlier by the author. The thrust-input power ratio is measured keeping the input voltage constant or, equivalently, keeping the magnetic loading constant. The measured results are compared to the calculated ones. The thrust/input power ratio characteristics under constant electric loading are also discussed.
