摘要
In this paper, a new combined technique of stress-space plasticity and acoustic emission (AE) is proposed to evaluate the deterioration of concrete quantitatively. The damage is induced to concrete using the freezing-thawing process under different number of cycles. In the experiments, specimens were subjected to loading, unloading and reloading processes, and AE events were measured. The numerical analysis is performed to investigate a relation between the deterioration measured by AE events and the damage estimated from the stress-space plasticity model which is a function of the plastic work.
