摘要
The authors derive a formula for the additive systematic-error component for a voltmeter on the basis that the random component is eliminated by processing repeated measurements. We use the law that the voltages 'U prime and U double prime are equal in two parallel arms composed correspondingly of n and m series-connected resistors of the same nominal value. The device for determining the additive component was implemented as an external one, although a preliminary analysis shows that in principle it is possible to build the proposed device into a digital means of measurement containing a microprocessor and to automate the determination of this error component. An approximate calculation shows that the time required for that measurement would not exceed the self-monitoring time based on built-in measures, while the memory volume required is actually less (2-4 k). Such memory can be implemented with a 565RU21 LSI interfaced to a K580IK80 LSI central processor.
