摘要
The special features of the catalytic conversion of alkaline salts of ccarboxylic acids in the presence of zinc, cadmium, iron, and copper compounds are considered. It is established that the active forms of catalyst during the rearrangement of salts in the presence of halogen derivatives of zinc and cadmium are cadmium and zinc salts of benzenecarboxylic acids. A probable scheme of the participation of catalyst in carboxylate exchange is proposed. It is shown that to ensure high efficiency of the process in the presence of halogen derivatives of zinc and cadmium, and also in the presence of mixed catalysts based on oxides of these metals and aluminum chloride, rapid heating to temperatures at which the reaction mixture is capable of being incorporated into the carboxylate exchange reaction is requird, as well as intense stirring during the time of thermal action.
