摘要
Alloying 08N4M2D2Yu directional maraging metal with up to 0. 20% carbon and up to 0. 50% vanadium makes it possible to greatly increase the hardness, thermal stability and wear resistance of the metal during contact friction at temperatures up to 700 degree C without significantly reducing its resistance to thermal erosion. For directional metal of this type meeting high requirements on resistance to thermal erosion the authors recommend alloying with up to 0. 04% nitrogen, which makes it possible to reduce the carbon content by 0. 02-0. 05% from the initial value without detracting from the thermal stability, hardness and wear resistance of the metal at temperatures up to 700 degree C.
