摘要
Careful planning of mines before start-up and during the actual operating is a key for successful and profitable mining operation. The system shovel/backhoe-truck is the most flexible system in open pit mines but due to the poor energy efficiency of offroad trucks it is an expensive system, especially when long distances and high differences in levels have to be overcome. The shovel/backhoe-crusher-conveyor system is by far more economical, but less flexible, as the easy to manoeuvre hydraulically driven excavator is part of a semimobile transport chain.
