摘要
This communication gives information on the effect of formalin in the presence of orthocresol and gelatin on the quality of the deposits, polarization, and the current yield. The investigations were performed in a solution of the following composition (g/liter): SnSO//4 50, H//2SO//4 90, orthocresol 10, and gelatin 1. Tin deposits obtained from the electrolyte have a fine-crystalline structure and are firmly attached to the main metal; at a thickness of 10 mu they are not highly stressed and are practically nonporous.
