摘要：
The static method of the theory of plasticity is applied to reinforced concrete flat slabs. The well-known square yield condition for the bending moments in isotropic slabs is supposed to be valid. The boundary conditions at the slab edges are thoroughly studied. Some new complete solutions for point-supported square plates are presented. Applications to flat slabs are discussed and the influence of finite column diameters is investigated.
