摘要
It is a new kind of safety measurement to inject boron liquid into the nuclear reactor during crisis situation. In order to prevent a large amount of coolant from discharging from core a jet-pump was used as safety device of the boron injection system in 5 MW heating reactor. Whether the jet-pump could be used as a safety device of the boron injection system was studied experimentally. The experimental study was performed under the following conditions: pressure 0.1-1.5MPa, temperature 20-198°C, diameter of the work nozzle of the jet pump 1-8 mm, and the charging flow rate 0.1-0.8kg/s. The experiment result shows that the jet pump suitably designed can satisfy the design requirement as a safety device in the boron injection system of the nuclear reactor. The jet pump has been used in the 5MW heating reactor.
