This paper investigates the free vibration of the functionally graded graphene platelets reinforced porous composite (FG-GPLRPC) plate with a diamond-shaped hole and two cracks. Based on the Mindlin-Reissner plate theory and Hamilton principle, the governing equations and boundary conditions are derived. These equations are discretized using the generalized differential quadrature finite element method (GDQFEM), and the natural frequency is obtained by numerical solutions. The effects of the hole size, crack length and crack angle on the natural frequency are discussed. The results show that the natural frequency decreases with increasing crack angle and crack length. © 2024 Elsevier Ltd
