摘要
The dynamic characteristics of an electromagnetic brake is an important factor to reflect its braking feature. Dynamic current and dynamic force affect the operating time directly, and thus affect its braking effect. Based on the designed electromagnetic brake with a conical braking surface and the theory of electromagnetic structure, the electromagnetic and kinetic mathematical model of the brake is set up respectively in this paper. The dynamic operating process is calculated by using FEM software, and at the meanwhile dynamic current and dynamic force are also analyzed. The simulation and test results show that the designed electromagnetic brake can be used to obtain the desired braking function in expectant time safely, and this study provides a reliable and convenient model to research the similar electromagnetic structures.
