摘要
In order to analyze the disconnection conditions of ice-covered split wires more quickly and accurately, a finite element model of beam and rod elements was developed based on the co-rotational (CR) method. A finite element implementation method for the disconnection of node failure was proposed, and the reliability of the method was verified by comparison with experiment results. The finite element program was written in C + + language, and the program was visualized through QT and VTK toolkits. Finally, a three-level ice-coated four-split finite element model was established. Based on this finite element model, the effects of different ice coating thicknesses and different disconnection positions on the tension of the sub-conductors and the bending moment of the spacer rods were studied. The results show that the spacer rods bear additional torque when the sub-conductor breaks, and the maximum tension value of the unbroken conductor occurs near the spacer rod, and the tension decreases successively to the normal operating level along the conductor away from the break point. In the case of ice coating, the maximum tension of single sub-conductor and twin sub-conductors increases linearly with the ice coating thickness. When three sub-conductors break, all sub-conductors will break, and when all four sub-conductors break, it can be simplified to a single sub-conductor in the calculation. The simulation results provide a reference for transmission line design and fault analysis. The proposed wire breakage simulation method provides a reliable finite element implementation method for the simulation of wire breakage. © 2024 Chinese Vibration Engineering Society.
