Hybrid algorithm for hot strip mill rolling scheduling problem

摘要
A mathematical model of hot strip mill rolling scheduling problem (HSMRSP) is formulated. A hybrid heuristic method is proposed based on parallel strategy. The approach consists of three stages. The first stage is to classify and sort production orders to generate an initial solution by applying the domain expertise. The second is to improve the initial solutions with genetic algorithm (GA). The third is to generate the final results by adopting tabu search (TS) based on swaps of single slab and slab group. Computational results show that the proposed method is feasible and valid.
